We know your congregation and context have different needs and opportunities for videos to interpret the life of our synod.

In the past we have made a video for use at congregational meetings. This year we made it for that use and for other contexts you might use it in such as council or committee meetings, in worship, in confirmation /adult faith formation or wherever it might help your congregation or your mission.

If you will not be using it in a public forum it could be as simple as posting it on your congregation's Facebook page or e-news. If you plan on using it in a large public forum, posting it after that use on Facebook will allow folks who were not present to also enjoy it.

As a synod we continue to focus on the word, "formation." We continue to note and celebrate all the ways we can see that God has been forming us as the baptized, as congregations and as a synod. I invite you to focus on what God is up to in you, in your family, in your community of faith and in God's world. We know that the most important work of the Spirit is often hidden. We know it is easy to make mistakes as we seek to understand the presence and work of God in our lives. Yet we are confident that our Gracious God continues to call us, form us and send us to serve. So, we watch for signs of God's forming and reforming grace. We are grateful for God's many gifts.
