David Heffner Has Gone Social!

Happy New Year! I hope that 2011 is off to a good start for you, I know that it has been busy for me.

Some are saying that the recession is over and the economy is climbing out of the nose dive that we have been in. The "glass tower" folks can say whatever they want, but it took years to get us to a breaking point and it will take years to get things fixed.

For those of you that have been receiving my newsletters for a while, you know that I have been slowly embracing social media and all that this means. This is the year that I blow the doors off this economic funk and kick things into high gear. In addition to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, I also have a blog on my web site (Heffner Plumbing web site) where I am posting on a regular basis. The goal with all of this is to convey meaningful information on plumbing products and problems. I may even take a shot at some DIY videos.

One of the things that define how successful a social media campaign is would be how "viral" it becomes. If you read a blog post or something that I have written on Facebook that carries meaning and value to you, please share this with your friends and family.

I'll go back to my regular newsletter format next month and look forward to being in touch with all of you again soon.
