A little belated, but with the earthquake that we had yesterday, there are some things to check as far as your plumbing is concerned. With a bright flashlight, check all of your water connections for sinks, toilets and water heaters to make sure that nothing is leaking. If you find a leak and can't turn the water off at the fixture, turn the water off to the house until the necessary repairs can be made. Another thing to be aware of is gas leaks. If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas company or the Fire Department. DO NOT call from inside of the house because of the danger from a gas explosion. |
