Greetings!

I normally leave town with my family for Thanksgiving and this year will be no different. The trip to Illinois will be a welcome break from a recent hectic schedule. Hopefully some helpful hints may head off some plumbing emergencies. Regardless, I would like to thank all of my customers for their continued business and referrals. I couldn't do this without your help!

You Did What?

Thanksgiving 2010

Moderation and a dose of common sense typically are all that is needed to make Thanksgiving "plumber free." Small amounts of food and plenty of cold water are usually the recipe needed to keep the garbage disposal working properly. Fibrous foods such as celery or carrot peels can clog the drain and the same can be said for pastas.

For more information, please go to our blog where you will also find a link to a video of David and Treeboy talking about disposal do's and don'ts.

The Federal Energy Tax Credit will expire on December 31, 2010. This credit is for 30 % up to $1500.00. Tankless water heaters qualify for this credit and 3 Heffner Plumbing customers have taken advantage of this recently. For more information and some pictures, please go to our Facebook Fan page:
