Greetings!

The team is back in Whistler!  After an intense month of travel across the mountains, CVTC is back at home.  The team had a bit of time off to rest and recover before completing a block of testing just before Thanksgiving.

The testing showed that the team is in top shape leading into the snowy season.  Everybody was throwing down personal bests and team records in the various testing activities.  This is great news with the season critically close.

Coach Chris Manhard also notes that the team is in high spirits and good health, so watch for their smiling faces on the roads and trails of Whistler for the next little while.

Happy Trails!

What's the Team Wearing?
Fashion is important... but so is function.

The CVTC team has had some good luck and fantastic support this year on the apparel front.  Kicking off the summer season, Mizuno came on board with summer training apparel.  The kit included shorts, technical shirt and the famous Breath Thermo long-sleeve shirt.  The Breath Thermo shirt was a huge hit as it looked really styley and also provided cozy warmth for the high altitude runs.

Icebreaker outfitted the team with travel and casual wear (plus essential under-garments).  The t-shirts keep the team properly insulated and smell-free for the long van rides and impending winter travel.

The winter wardrobe is provided by Halti.  Winter parkas, warm-ups, and a whole variety of accessories will keep the team looking cool, but staying warm, while on the pristine Whistler tracks.  Halti has a great reputation for providing the best fitting, most stylish, and incredibly functional ski clothing.

If you're looking to recognize the team as they glide by, watch for blue jackets.  The team chose to go with a blue theme this year, featuring a few yellow and white highlights.
