Greetings!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
First, thanks to the Thanker-in-Chief, Judy Freiburg, for hosting the dinner honoring all of our EWGA volunteers.  I am grateful for this strong team!

Your board did not meet this month...officially, but we have been and will be working hard to get ready for next year.  But we are always ready for a night out!  Thus, I am planning to "Paint with a Twist" organized by Carol Gleason.  Now, you don't have to be on the board to plan a night out with your fellow members...If you have an idea for a gathering and would like some help to put it together, please let us know!

Also, I am a veteran Golf Expo volunteer.  Yes, it's Valentine's Day weekend, but the Expo is not all work.  There is plenty of time for shopping for your valentine...or in my case, I shop for me.  My hubby knows I'm not into jewelry and prefer to pick out my own golf gifts!

Finally, during this season of giving let us take time to slow down and
snowflake-cookies.jpgenjoy the simple things. May this wonderful time of year touch your heart in a special way. Wishing you much happiness today and throughout the New Year!

St. Louis Golf Expo - At the St Charles Convention Center.

Come out and support EWGA-St. Louis Chapter and enjoy this yearly golf shopping event.  There are opportunities for volunteers to work during the event and a great way for EWGA members to meet and greet prospective new members.  Volunteers will receive free entry and other incentives for their participation.  Signup sheets and details will be coming in January. Don't miss out on the fun!

Volunteers

giving-hands-together.jpg
Over one third of our membership volunteered during this past golf season to help make it a full and fun year.  So, on December 3rd we thanked those who donated their time and efforts by wining and dining our volunteers at the Sports Cafe in Bridgeton.  And, we honored those who have been EWGA members for six years or more.

EWGA volunteers serve on our board of directors, set up and host playdates, are our league captains, help with our kick off  and social events, help communicate about EWGA to our membership and to the St. Louis area, and help us recruit new members.

So thank you to the following EWGA members for all your help and support:
