"Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible." - T.E. Lawrence In the movie The Matrix, Morpheus says to Neo, "Sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path." While the entire movie is a fantastic metaphor for what our dreams are made of and how to truly live them, this quote is at the heart of it all. No matter how much we dream, whether it's during the day or night, the dreams are still in our heads. The dreams are representative of what we think consciously and subconsciously. And while our dreams have power, that power is only potential power until we put it to use in the world. These are the dreams that are "by night, in the dusty recesses" of minds. If for nothing else, because they are not real, they are not manifested. Once those dreams are put into action though, that potential energy becomes actualized in the real world. We begin to bring forth those dreams in physical, real, and meaningful ways. In this way, what we really discover is that the difference in our world is the gap between dreaming and doing. It very literally is the difference between knowing the path and walking the path. The dreamers continue wishing, hoping, wanting for things to change. They see a world they want to live in yet for one reason or another don't do what it takes to create that world. Their self-imposed limitations prevent them from "waking up" from the dream. The doers on the other hand are changing the world by storm... Whether they're like Mother Teresa in the slums of Calcutta, the public school teachers who tirelessly create a new world through their students, or billionaire entrepreneurs who use money as a form of social change... These are the doers who took risks to go beyond their dreams and make those dreams become reality. They all started with a single step, and put one foot in front of the other, to change things proactively and create the world they want to live in. In this way, the doers present a very real "danger" to the status quo. They shake up the ideas and paradigms by which most people live. In fact, this very shaking is what dreamers fear most. Not necessarily because the dreamers become jealous of the doers (though that is often true), but because the doers create a world in which the dreamers can no longer stay asleep dreaming. Even then the dreamers must awaken, if for nothing else, to change positions and go back to sleep. In your own life, the choice is always there: to dream or do. The dream is always a good start. It is an important and necessary start. However, when the dreams stay just dreams, your potential will wither away and die in the deep subconsciously fearful recesses of your mind. The dream will disappear as quickly as it appeared. Or, you take the next step and bring that dream into the real world. In this way, you are no longer just a dreamer or a doer. You are both. You create the dream, embrace the dream, and you give it the life it needs to become real. You become the dream. Still, no matter what path you take, never mistake the dream for the actions needed to manifest that dream. Remember Morpheus' words, "There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path." Remember that, and you will discover how simple it can be to bring your dreams to life
God Bless you.

Extend a Merciful Hand
Mercy refers to both kindness and forgiveness, and it's extended to those who aren't otherwise receiving much of either, those alienated by distress and harshness. Mercy is an act of compassion-the kind of love Jesus commanded you to have for your neighbor. But in this us-versus-them world, too few people are acting neighborly. This Year of Mercy is an invitation to devote yourself to the Divine Mercy of Jesus and welcome the outsider into your heart, life, community-where you encounter the same mercy extended toward you.

1- In 1938, Lee Byung-Chull launched Samsung in South Korea as a grocery shop. 2- In 1940, due to tight competition in the grocery segment, Samsung abandoned grocery for producing and selling of noodles. 3- In 1950, Samsung abandoned production of noodles for producing of sugar. 4- In 1954, Samsung left sugar and started a woolen mill in Korea. 5- In 1956, Samsung abandoned woolen mill and started selling Insurance and securities. 6- In 1960, Samsung left selling of insurance and securities for production of television - the black and white television. 7- In 1980, Samsung switched to telecoms, producing telephone switch boards. 8- In 1987, Lee the founder and owner of Samsung died. The company now broke into four independent companies- department stores, chemicals & logistics, paper/telecom and electronics. 9- Same year, Samsung decided to focus on international investing, investing in plants & semi conductor facilities around the world. 10- In 1990, Samsung delved into real estate abandoning international investing in semi conductors. Samsung built the worlds tallest buildings: Petronas Towers Malaysia, Taipei 101 in Taiwan 11- In 1993, there was heavy recession and Asian markets went belly up, Lee's son who had succeeded him as the CEO of Samsung began downsizing, selling subsidiaries and merged the rest. 12- With the merging of the electronics, engineering and chemicals division, Samsung became the world's largest producer of memory chips. 13- In 1995, Samsung switched to liquid-crystal displays and over the next 10 years became the worlds largest manufacturer of flat screen television. 14- In 2010, with liquid crystal displays becoming competitive, Samsung launches a 10 year growth strategy, with smart phones being a key focus. 15- In 2016, Samsung is worlds largest mobile and smart phone maker, outselling iPhone two to one. Samsung sales today is over $250 billion and produces a fifth of South Korea's total exports. Don't be afraid of change. If you don't change, you become insignificant. Don't be afraid of delving into new waters. Don't get stuck doing same thing over and over again, it's boring. The life is in the risk. The life is in the new!!!! If your idea isn't working or you are stagnant, don't stick to the Glorious' past, take the risk and move on. It's far better than being stagnant |

Laughter the best medicine
3 friends lived in an apartment on the 100th floor... One day when the elevator was not working they decided to tell each other stories as they walked up the stairs. The 1st told a comic story till the 50th floor, 2nd told an action story till the 99th floor and the 3rd told a horror story in just 1 sentence - "I forgot the house keys in the car
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House in Washington D.C. One from Bangladesh , another from India and the third, from China. They go with a White House office to examine the fence. The Bangladesh contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well", he says, "I figure the job will run about $900. ($400 for materials, $400 for my team and $100 profit for me)". The Chinese contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700. ($300 for materials, $300 for my team and $100 profit for me)". The Indian contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$2,700." The official, outraged says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?" The Indian contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from China to fix the fence." "Done!" replies the government official
