Radio Sawa and Radio Free Asia Win at the New York Festivals On June 23 two networks from the BBG were honored for their excellence by the New York Festivals. Radio Sawa won gold for its coverage of the July 2013 clashes between Egyptian President Morsi's supporters and opponents in Egypt's public squares. Radio Free Asia won a bronze medal its exposé on Chinese "birth tourism," "Born in the USA: Instant Citizenship in Saipan."
