Seniors and caregivers of all ages attended the Senior Advocacy Group of Ahwatukee (SAGA) Symposium on November 3rd, 2012, at the Pecos Community Center.

Over 175 seniors, adult children and caregivers attended the Senior Advocacy Group of Ahwatukee's (SAGA) inaugural symposium on November 3rd at the Pecos Community Center. Attendee evaluations gave the first-time event a 97% approval rating!

The forum featured keynote addresses by Karen and Senator John McComish and Billy Thrall, Executive Director of CityServe Arizona.  Guest Host was Kelly L. Madison, President of the Meningitis Foundation of America.

The educational event included breakout sessions from industry experts on Laughter Yoga, Medicare 101, Improved Veteran's Benefits, Superfoods for a Super You, Understanding a "Power of Attorney," Pets in Disasters, Mobile Healthcare, Senior Living Options and much more.
