The First 100 Years

In 1900, the average lifespan was 47 years old, but now, thanks to technological, medical, and social advancements, the life span is well over 75 and rising. Furthermore, the chances of us living to be 100+ years is great! However, research has found the biggest challenge aging Americans face is loss of function mobility. This seminar highlights how you can stay young, move well, and achieve your goals without pain. Presented by Dr. Andrew Fetterman of Creative Chiropractic Solutions. Registration is required. Summer Home & Family Organizing Hit List
Thursday, July 25th, 7 p.m.   
Summer's slower pace and longer days may give you just the few hours you need to get organized. Popular summer projects include getting organized for the upcoming school year, easily turning digital photos into a book to share with friends, and taming your digital life. We will cover some of these hot topics so that you can finally get organized and enjoy the rest of your summer without worrying! Certified Professional Organizer® Darla DeMorrow will provide timely tips and practical strategies for getting organized at home and everywhere else. The Library will be closed on Thursday, the 4th of July and will reopen on Friday, July 5th.

Beginning in July and continuing through Labor Day, the Library will be closed on Sundays. 

First Friday Family Film

Friday July 5th, join us at 7 p.m. for a movie about a young boy's summer adventures.  Doors open at 6:45 p.m.  No registration necessary.  Parents and caregivers must stay with children under the age of 11.  2000; Rated G; 84 minutes. 

 

Summer Family Movie
Join us on Tuesday, June 16th, at 7 p.m. for an award winning classic movie for young audiences.  Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The movie is about a boy and a very large piece of fruit.  No registration necessary.  Parents and caregivers must stay with children under the age of 11. 1996; Rated G; 79 minutes.

Book Buddies
Mondays throughout the
summer, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Our teen Book Buddies will be available in the library to listen to stories read to them by younger readers. Visit as often as you like Mondays. (All ages)

Reading with Animals
Mondays, July 8 & 29, 7 p.m.

 Pals for Life will visit the library with animals that enjoy listening to stories read to them by young readers. Registration required; click here to register online. (Ages 6+)
