Coming on the heels of last year's proclamation of Sacramento as America's Farm-to-Fork Capital, that means a host of events focused on sustainable local eating. Lucca Celebrates 10 Years: Four Farm-to-Fork Events Highlight Sacramento in April
Midtown Sacramento's Lucca Restaurant began with a mission to serve locally grown food, and in a few years, that included starting Lucky Dog Ranch for a steady supply of humanely raised beef. Del Rio Botanical is one of the Sacramento area's boutique farms. Started by a member of the first graduating class of UC Davis, it was the first one to be certified organic by Yolo County.
