2015 SOILMAP User Conference
The summer user conference is right around the corner. This August 4th & 5th.

This will be held at Kings Pointe Resort in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Registration for the conference is FREE

We recommend you send as many people from your organization as you can. This year we will have several door prizes and random drawings throughout the 2 day conference.

Please make sure to book your rooms at King's Pointe Resort early. Last year the resort filled up fast.

Please RSVP to Patrick Olmstead at [email protected]

High Resolution Imagery
Did you know you can place imagery orders with SOILMAP? Simply let us know your field maps code and resolution and let us take care of the rest. You will receive an e-mail (files) when the imagery is complete.

You can also use imagery to make in season recommendations. Using the Management Zones tool sets you can turn imagery into an application file. With SOILMAP, you have full control to manipulate the zones you create based on the images you receive.

Fall Considerations
Now is a great time to consider updates to your grid sampling books or company equations.  We will be handing out Re-Grid reports at the summer user conference, but let us know if you would prefer to receive them at an earlier date. You can also run this report yourself in SOILMAP. It is listed as 'Company Field Sample Analysis'.

* When looking at your fields in SOILMAP you can also easily tell based on the color of the stars as to when a field was last sampled.

Aerial Application - Sensitive Crops
As aerial application season starts, we just want to remind everyone of the Aerial Application feature. When creating a blend sheet for the Aerial Application blender, the 5th page will contain a sensitive crops listing.  This report is linked to the sensitive crop registry. It is important to note that unregistered and incorrectly registered sensitive crops will not show in this list.

In the below example you can see the specifics about this sensitive crop including crop, location, phone number and on-site manager.

SOILMAP Updates
  • New report company active single accounts
  • New report company active split accounts
  • When creating aerial spray report using partial application feature boundary export file now contains partial shapefile
  • Fixed bug which would cause error on e-mailing some blend sheets
  • Multiple updates to fleet management dispatch
