SOILMAP Support Hints

Did you know you have the ability to change the border colors and fill area for blendsheets? Here is a before and after screenshot of a partial application field.

This is permission based, but this functionality is found under Settings - Company-Map Display Settings-Location-Partial App.

SOILMAP Development Efforts
SOILMAP Fleet Management will go into Beta testing in the next couple of weeks.

Below is a screenshot from the operations tab on our fleet website. Clare, Glidden, Lidderdale, and Palmer are displayed on the map, while the filter function is being used to display the open NH3 workorders.

Crop Rollover
On September 1st crop rollover occurred. Future crop is most likely blank now, at the Decision Maker level you can set the future crop for every field.

This is a big time saver compared to setting each field individually or by selecting the "set crop" icon.

SOILMAP Reporting
SOILMAP Reporting is now available to use. Contact your company representative if you don't have permission for a certain report.

If you are in need of a re-sample list for Fall, it may be there for you to view in reporting, otherwise contact MAPS and we can generate and grant you access to that report.

Avail Calculator

Click here to download an excel spreadsheet designed to aid in calculating the rate of Avail phosphorus enhancer when creating blend sheets in SOILMAP.

Sheet 1 is a simple calculator in which all you have to do is enter the rate per acre of MAP, DAP or any other product you may handle. In the yellow cell the rate and oz per acre will calculate for you.

Sheet 2 is a simple cheat sheet you can print with rates of P fertilizer in 10lb. increments listed and corresponding rate of Avail.

These are all calculated using the rate of 1/2 gallon of Avail/ ton of dry fertilizer.
