 UPDATE
Grassland Improvement Project
We have made a great deal of progress with the Grassland Habitat Improvement Project on Bluebird Ranch, a 200 acre property on the Carden Plain. This project helps to open up habitat for many birds such as bobolinks and meadowlarks.
A lot of this phase of the project was accomplished in February and March, with the bulk of the labour being supplied by an incredible team of volunteers. All together there was a total of 425 hours of brush-dragging, smoke-eating, ember-dodging fun! Many thanks to the 16 volunteers for all of their help.
A lot of work has been completed, but there is still more to go. Read more about the project and how you can help.
