Fundraising Dinner at Grant's Woods 

 

Join us on at the Grant's Woods Conservation Centre for an evening of live music, outdoor dinner and a pie auction - all while surrounded by nature.

Dinner at 6:00pm

Arrive early and take a walk in the woods

Doors open at 4:30pm 

  

Performance by Alex the Folk Band.

 

Pie Auction Extravaganza - Good pie by good people for a good cause

 

NOTE: Parking is available at ODAS park, 4500 Fairgrounds Rd. There will be a shuttle running every 15 minutes between ODAS Park and the Conservancy. The shuttle runs from 4:30pm until 9:30pm. Please contact the office if you require any special assistance. 

  

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at:

  • The Conservancy office, 1485 Division Rd West
  • The Bird House Nature Company in Orillia, 108 Mississaga St E
  • Online through Brown Paper Tickets (NOTE: there is a small additional cost for online tickets)

This program was established three years ago to take nature education directly into schools in our area. By the end of this school year, we have now reached over 2,000 students.

Margo Holt
PASSAGES

Margo Holt  March 7, 1944 to July 28, 2013  

 

Members of the Couchiching Conservancy will be sad to learn that Margo Holt died on Sunday July 28th after a number of very challenging and difficult months of illness.  Margo will be greatly missed by her friends and the naturalist community.
