Last year was the first time that SportSouth televised the games and the record-setting audience witnessed some of the best games the event has seen. 92-9 The Game covered the
games for the second straight year and provided radio coverage both online and with its powerful signal that spans well beyond the perimeter.
"Having the largest sports radio signal in North Georgia, we have a responsibility to deliver the best in live and local content to our listeners. We believe the Metro PCS Corky Kell Classic fits this goal perfectly," said Terry Foxx, 92-9 The Game Program Director.
The aim to provide the best content to its audiences is what continues to attract so many different media outlets to the Corky Kell and Georgia's football prominence and wealth of talent draws interest throughout the southeast.
"As it is our mission to deliver the best in local sports across the Southeast region, we think high school football should play a part in that equation, and especially so in Georgia," said Jeff Genthner, Senior Vice President and General Manager of SportSouth on what it means to cover the Corky Kell Classic."
247sports and Rivals will be two of the many recruiting sites returning to cover all the storylines and top individual performances during the seven games and will also keep up with the bevy of college programs that will be lining up on the sidelines to get an up-close look.
