Three new No. 1's highlight polls

with a 17-14 win over Harrison, which played without its goalie and one of its top defenders. No. 3 North Gwinnett improved to 11-0 on Friday with its 17-2 victory over Mountain View. The Bulldogs have not surrendered double-digit goals once this season. Walton moved up to No. 4 after winning its region contest with Etowah 12-7 on Saturday. Lambert, the only team to beat No. 1 Milton this year, debuts in the top five with a 7-3 record.

Class A-5A

Northview took No. 1 from Westminster with a 7-6 win on Saturday over the Wildcats. Northview is the only unbeaten team left in Class  A-5A at 9-0. The loss sent Westminster down one spot to No. 2. Pope moved to 7-7 after a 12-11 loss to Lovett on Saturday. However, the battle-tested Greyhounds took No. 1 Northview to overtime on March 1 before falling short 8-7. Marist debuted in this week's poll and the War Eagles have won seven straight since their season opening loss to Northview (11-3).

No. 1 Milton demolished Florida's Ponte Vedra 16-8 on Friday and remains at the top of the poll. No. 2 Lassiter grabbed an impressive 19-9 out-of-state win over Ravenwood (Tenn.) on Friday. Walton jumped Chattahoochee for No. 3 this week with a 15-9 win over Centennial on Tuesday and a 14-12 victory on Saturday over Ponte Vedra (Fla.). Chattahoochee fell to Ponte Vedra 20-9 earlier this season (March 14) and even with a perfect 7-0 in-state record, the Cougars dropped to No. 4 in this week's poll after seeing Milton and Walton cruise past the Florida power this weekend. Mill Creek moved up to No. 7 with a solid 10-4 win over Northview and Roswell fell out of the top 10 after suffering a 15-11 loss to Etowah, its fifth defeat of the season.

Class A-5A

Undefeated Kell is this week's new No. 1. The Longhorns beat an undefeated Charlotte Catholic (N.C.) team 12-10 on Friday before cruising past Ravenwood (Tenn.)

18-4 on Saturday. Previous No. 1 Westminster played Charlotte Catholic on Saturday, the day after the Longhorns' triumph, and fell 9-7. Both of Westminster's losses have come to out of state opponents and the Wildcats fell just one spot to No. 2. McIntosh joins Kell as the only other unbeaten team left in Class A-AAAAA and moved up a spot to No. 3 in this week's poll. Pope dropped to No. 4 after losing 16-8 to No. 1 Kell on Monday and Northview fell to No. 5 after its 10-4 loss to Mill Creek on Wednesday. St. Pius X topped Marist 13-11 on Friday and improved to No. 8 and Starr's Mill debuts at No. 10 after topping Holy Innocents' 16-14 on Wednesday.
