Estate Planning Workshop
Join us for an Estate Planning Workshop on April 9, 2013 at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park in Carlisle, Kentucky (click here for flyer). This workshop features Tamara L. Cushing, Ph.D. the Director of the Clemson University Tax School. Topics to be covered include: estate planning tools, tax management, transition of assets, family communication, understanding timber value and timber basis, and more. This workshop is free and open to the public and is also being offered as pre-meeting workshop of the Kentucky Woodland Owners Association (KWOA) Annual meeting which will be held at the Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park April 9-10, 2013.

Ohio River Valley Woodland and Wildlife Workshop
Register now for this workshop which is being presented by the forestry extension groups from the University of Kentucky, Ohio State University, and Purdue University. Kentucky Wood Expo
You don't want to miss the 2013 Kentucky Wood Expo which will take place on September 20 & 21 in Lexington, KY. The regional show presented by the Kentucky Forest Industries Association offers something for everyone from homeowners to woodland owners to loggers to sawmills to finished wood product manufacturers.
