What's Happening at the Wellness Center
INTRODUCING THE BUDDY-UP PROGRAM

Nothing improves your odds of long-term health and wellness success better than someone to go through it with you - a buddy to help you stay on track, hold you accountable and lift you up when you are just not feeling like exercising. And of course, you can serve the same function for them as well. That is where the Buddy-up program comes in. This new initiative rewards you for introducing new people to what you already know - that the Wellness Center is a great place to get fit and stay healthy. Bring in a new member* in September. If they join for 6 months you receive a free month and you both receive a Buddy-up T-shirt. Both of you will be entered into a drawing for some significant prizes as well. If your buddy joins for 12 months, in September, you receive TWO free months and you BOTH receive 2 chances for the drawing. The new buddy will also receive half off the joining fee.

*A new member is anyone who has never been a Wellness Center member or has not been a member in the last 90 days.

There is no limit to how many new members you can bring in for a trial during Buddy-Up month.

Healthy Eating, Healthy Living

Love enchiladas, but want to avoid the high-calorie tortilla shells? Substitute with zucchini! This Chicken Enchilada-Stuffed Zucchini Boat recipe allows you to indulge guilt free! The chicken can be cooked ahead of time in a slower cooker. Place chicken in the bottom of the pot and cover with water, cook on high for four hours. Also, if you are in a pinch you can use store-bought enchilada sauce, but be mindful that it is probably higher in sodium.

For More Summer Recipes
Join us in the Bistro on Hospital Hill at 12 noon every Wednesday when Executive Chef Tony DeWalt will offer a cooking demonstration. He will create a dish with ingredients chosen earlier in the day from the Farmers Market.
