October FAST
I can't believe it! OCTOBER! It's really October! WOW!
This year has flown by. With only three months left I have to start planning what it is I want to accomplish next year, in 2014, professionally and personally.
I want to try new things. I want to facilitate new topics that are cutting edge. I want to facilitate to different groups of people who desire to learn. And, I want to have fun doing it.
I encourage each of you to do the same. Make 2014 a year of new things tried. Make it a year to remember. So, maybe I'll become a Zumba instructor! WOOT!
With that said, I am ready to enjoy the month of October! Now, where did I put my lederhosen...?
Stay connected, and I hope to see you at our October chapter meeting.
Your ASTD SWFL President,
Ken Bodenhamer

September Chapter Meeting Recap
|

Anne Dalton introduced all of us to the importance of paying attention to copyright. We all write materials, use pictures and graphics, and post our great creations on the web, but do we pay attention to Copyright?
Anne presented 5 true horror stories about Copyright and Invasion of Privacy for Trainers. Copying and pasting graphics and photos that we easily find on the internet and using the m in our training materials may have consequences. Just learning about the copyright web crawlers made many of us ponder our own web sites.
Even though Anne made us all a little copyright nervous she answered many questions and was open to discussion on the 5 cases that she presented. For those that were unable to attend this meeting you really missed quite a bit of useful information.
