dipped to 10% at the end of 2012.
10% for Q4 2012 - down from 12.7% one year ago. This compares with 14.3% for the Mather submarket and 22.7% for the McClellan submarket.
"This represents four straight quarters with a drop in vacancy and the lowest vacancy rate in the submarket in four years," said Cassidy Turley's Steve Perez. Average asking lease rates increased slightly, but not significantly, from $.33/SF to $.34/sf NNN. "Although these are positive signs for landlords," he said, "expect 2013 to continue to be a tenant's market, as the Power Inn submarket, being the largest in the region, still has almost 2.5 million sf of vacant space."
