Know the Code - No More Advertising Overload
|
Non-compliant signs were removed from Folsom Blvd creating
a cleaner and professional looking shopping center. |
This transformation of Folsom Blvd was ignited by Alliance members John and Annette Deglow. The College Glen residents used The Alliance's advertising overload abatement program and spoke with businesses at College Greens Shopping Center to remove all non-compliant signage.
Three Alliance committees reviewed the "Code Compliance" program and agree to keep this area neater businesses should comply with City Code ordinances and remove excess, unattractive and illegal signage.
As this is published, The Alliance is mailing a Code Enforcement flyer to all businesses and property owners in the PBID with a request to voluntarily follow City ordinances, and ask other businesses to do the same to continue to make this a cleaner, more attractive area. |
