WMAR at the Youth in Transition School

The Youth In Transition School (YIT) at the National Center on Institutions and Alternatives (NCIA) was recently featured on ABC2 news.  Amidst so many reports of violence in our schools, this time, a school in the media was highlighted positively!

The featured piece mentions the educational and career oriented programs offered at NCIA: at the YIT school (for middle to high school students), for intellectually disabled adults, the residential programs for both students and adults, and also for people within the criminal justice system.

Please watch the feature story and read the accompanying article from WMAR's Lamont Williams when he filmed at NCIA and the YIT School.  We are delighted to share how the Youth In Transition School is really changing lives daily, yearly, and even for a lifetime.  Enjoy!
