Born to Die
As we celebrate Christmas Day, a day filled with joyful gatherings with family and friends, we also remember that there would be no joy in Christmas apart from the cross. As we celebrate Christmas today, let's also remember to celebrate Christ!
"We have seen and testify that the Father has sent
the Son to be the Savior of the world" (1 John 4:14).
Christ was born for this purpose, that He might be the Savior of all who place their trusting faith in Him! He came for the purpose of dying for our sin, that He might redeem us to God. As Jesus said, "But for this purpose I came to this hour" (John 12:27). Indeed, He finished well!
May you know the blessing of the Savior this day as we celebrate His wondrous birth! We give Him our Thanks-Giving!
