Non-stop "Seasonal" Ministry

The ministries of UIM International are non-stop. Some ministries may be dubbed "seasonal," such as "the camping season" or "the Christmas season," but in reality, ministry continues in all seasons. The "winter season" is more conducive to flights in Mexico, for example, but planning and preparation occur all year long.

Perhaps you have connected with UIM International at one of our seasonal ministries--perhaps a spring break trip or summer camping ministry, but your all-season-long participation by prayer and giving is never out of season!

This edition of the UIM Connection! will inform you of some of UIM's off-season ministry activities and important efforts of UIM missionaries working to keep connected with those reached during the course of a "seasonal" ministry. UIM is blessed with the service and sacrifice of many who have given of their lives in many years of faithfulness unto the Lord!

For UIM International, the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ is never out of season. We are ever planting, watering "in season and out of season," trusting the Lord for a spiritual harvest for His glory!

Thank you for remaining connected with UIM International!

In Christ,

A Lot Is Happening at
Broken Arrow Bible Ranch!

The year of 2013 ended with a successful winter retreat at Broken Arrow Bible Ranch.  Pastor Craig Barrak and a work team from Central Baptist Church in Crandall, Texas, ministered to 143 students. Pastor Barrak shared about the true purpose in life using Galatians 2:20.

Throughout the months before and after camp, Anna Farrow (Miss Anna), corresponds with campers through the Mailbox Club. The Mailbox Club is an age-appropriate correspondence study that helps the child better understand the Bible. The clubber signs up and gets the first lesson at camp. During the months of corresponding back and forth, Anna has a chance to get to know the student and is able to direct him or her to the correct answers using the Bible.   One course finished gives a clubber 25% off of camp, four courses finished gives them a free week of camp. In order to finish, the clubber needs to be faithful to work on the lessons and send them in.

Thank you to those who generously gave financially toward the BABR deficit and projects this past fall. They are completely out of the red! Two new furnaces at the lodge and one for the A-frame bathrooms will replace the inefficient ones that are now in use, thanks to a donation. A church group in March will continue to work on the go-cart track. They hope to have it running by this summer. A work team plans to replace the aging floor in the heavily used dining room in May. The Lord has provided and is providing through you!
