A Note From Miss Kitty

We hope everyone enjoyed our on-line magazine. Next issue we will format it differently so you will be able to read each page without having to enlarge it. A Story about a Red Hatmobile

The Red Hatmobile was put up for sale by Nancy Clark, Queen of "The Hat Owls" from Danville, Va. As soon as I saw the post, I called her, told her I wanted it. Then I called my daughter, Mendy Wininger, some friends-Queen Marie Christopher & one of my chapterettes, Lori Marler (aka: Lady-Lens-A lot), went to the bank, packed & we were off!!

Nancy had purchased the 1990 Cadillac Broughm in 2004. Her husband conveniently owned a body and paint shop and showed his love and dedication to her by painting the car red and purple. She drove it only to Red Hat events. When I purchased the car it had only 52,890 miles on it!

We had loads of fun in it on the way home. People everywhere we stopped wanted pictures. And, one guy offered me more than I paid for it. I told him, "IT'S NOT FOR SALE"!!

Now, it's me and my Red Hatmobile and we will both live happily ever after Red Hatting in royal STYLE!

Fashion Tip

Are you an apple shape?

Most of your weight accumulates above the hips which are narrow. Your back, ribs, and shoulders are broad. Your best assets are your legs!

Fashion Goal:

Try to elongate the torso, show off your legs, and use fashion to create the illusion of a waist.

What to wear?

DO go for mono-chromatic looks.

DO choose V neck tops to make your torso look longer.

DO wear belts at the smallest part of waist.

DO wear empire tops and dressers to conceal tummy bulge.

DO wear boot cut or flared jeans to create an even line from shoulders down.

DO wear shorter skirts to draw attention to your best asset and away from your midsection.

Be blessed for all your attributes that know one else has. Do the best with

what was given to us. Love yourself for who you are!
