Please send in your chapter stories, favorite recipe, craft, poems - just anything that you would like to share with your Red Hat sisters. You must send in your photo in high resolution All that means is that it must come from a good digital camera and direct from Your Pictures or Documents. No photo program or copy paper photos. They will not work.

In the Mood

About 125 Red Hatters attended the Red Hat performance at the Gallo Center Theatre
in Modesto, California, March 30th.

I was fortune enough to be able to ride on the bus with 47 Red Hatters to the performance. Carol Lewis, Havin' Fun Bunch, in Sacramento was the person that but this all together. Thanks Carol!

We are working on bringing a hysterical comedy performance to some cities. This show is Menopause's competition. You must see it when it comes your way. I will inform you.

Bylaws for Red Hatters

1. What happens at Red Hat meetings stays at Red Hat meetings...unless it will get you on Oprah.

2. We will attend every meeting we possibly can...unless we can't.

3. We will wear our red hats at all meetings . . . unless we are wearing something else.

4. We acknowledge chocolate as an honorary member with equal rights and privileges.

5. We promise to shop until we drop...even if no one is there to pick us up.

6. We will always notify our sisters about sales on red hats or purple clothes.

7. No occasion is too small to celebrate...by eating dessert if nothing else.

8. We promise to ooh and aah over pictures of each others pets, child and/or grandchildren.

9.We will plunge into chapter projects with reckless abandon.

10. We acknowledge the truth that Red Hatters are both clever and "crafty."

11. Life begins when we say it does... For we are not old or strange!

Blast from the Past

The Ladies of the Ageless Treasures from Shelby Twp., Michigan spent a lovely afternoon on the Detroit Princess ship enjoying a luncheon, some dancing and entertainment. They strolled along the walkway of the Detroit Riverfront, carrying their parasols, and enjoyed the views of both Detroit City and the country of Canada. Michigan issue, Summer 2007.
