War Hill High School has just informed me that they will be administering the PSAT tests on Saturday, June 1st until 1pm. This surprising event will impact our dress rehearsal, scheduled for the same day.

In order to comply with War Hill's requests, and insure a successful and positive dress rehearsal experience for our dancers, the following modifications to our regular routine should be followed.

  • Please use parking lot located in front of the school
  • Dancers assigned to the Black Box Theatre should enter through door #23
  • Dancers assigned to the Band, Orchestra, and Chorus rooms should enter through door #22
  • Public Restrooms will be available in the Commons (Please remember to stay quiet)
  • Food and drink should be kept with a parent, or left at the i-dance table located in the theatre
  • Parents should keep dancers and younger siblings from roaming the hallways
  • Absolutely no one is allowed in the commons until after 1pm (except for the use of rest rooms)
  • Pre-registration and 2013 class placements will be available between 1:30-6:00 in the commons. We will also hold pre-registration in the studio June 3- June 7 during regular studio hours

As always, I appreciate your cooperation with this unanticipated obstacle. All of us at i-Dance will do our best to help you and your dancer with his/her dress rehearsal needs.

We are looking for energetic, motivated, and diverse thinkers to further our mission to bring cultural enrichment to Williamsburg and surrounding areas.
  
Please submit a letter of interest in a sealed envelope to the office by May 31 2013. The Institute for Dance is a not for profit 501c.3 organization.
