Deletion Requests

Deletion requests should be submitted if an assessment was incorrectly submitted when "Patient should be Private Pay" or "Patient does not meet Medicare eligibility requirements". The Deletion Request form can be obtained here.

 

For security purposes, the completed form should be placed in double-envelopes and sent via Certified Mail to the address below.

Inspector General Accepts New Position
Acting Executive Director Appointed

 

Effective October 16, 2013, Mary Begley assumed a new position, Commissioner of the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.  Mary has successfully served as Inspector General since 2010 and will be greatly missed.  We wish her the best as she continues to serve the Cabinet in this new role.

 

Connie Payne has been appointed as Acting Executive Director of the Office of Inspector General. A registered nurse, Connie has served in various roles with the Office of Inspector General since 1996, including the Director of the Division of Health Care. We welcome Connie to her new role as she continues to diligently serve the Office of Inspector General.  
OASIS Submission Unavailable - November 22nd

CMS Completing Server Maintenance

CMS will be completing scheduled maintenance on the CMS server on Friday, November 22nd.  While the maintenance is being performed, the OASIS Submission system will be unavailable. 

 

The system may be down for the majority of the day.  You may check back periodically toward the end of the day to see if the system is again active.

Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) Training
 
CMS has developed OASIS-C web-based training modules which provide instruction to assist Home Health Agencies (HHAs) in accurately completing the Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS). In addition to providing an overview of the OASIS and conventions for data accuracy, these modules cover specific OASIS-C domains and provide item-specific guidance such as item intent, time points for item completion, response-specific item instructions, and data sources and resources.
