Hey Hope-sters!

A life in the Spirit is the only life that Christ has offered us.  His indwelling presence not only guides our steps, but creates the path to which our steps are to be found on.  So if the Spirit is both the path maker and the guide, we are guaranteed an incredible adventure.

To believe that we could live as new creations without understanding the gift of the Holy Spirit is to remain in our old mind-sets while having a new mind waiting to be activated.  You wouldn't expect to see a new 2015 Chevy Tahoe, fulled loaded and fueled up, being pulled down the street by a couple of horses because the owner is only familiar with the horse and buggy mode of transportation.

Yet, everyday I'm sure you are challenged with facing your situations with an old mind-set, while your new mind and Spirit-filled being is waiting to guide you with the wisdom, discernment and power of Heaven.

So how do we live a Spirit-filled life?  By spending time with the Spirit.  Overflow happens because there is an infilling, thus resulting in overflowing.  Maybe we don't see a whole lot of overflow because there isn't a lot of in-flowing.  Just a thought!

This Sunday we will continue to seek out the truth in living a life that overflows with the goodness of the Spirit.  Some of what we will address this Sunday will be the practical application of learning to hear the Spirit as well as increasing our ability to hear.

Yes, it is going to be fun!  For the Joy of the Lord is our Strength and joy (along with peace) stir up Hope!

See you on Sunday!
