Dear Friend of CCSD93,
Great Start to the Year
Each August it's wonderful to welcome our students back for a new school year!  Today was no different, as I saw smiling, excited teachers and students ready to kick off the year on a positive note. Here are a couple of photos from our littlest learners at the Early Childhood Center.
Please Be Safe When Driving Near Schools
I'd just like to give you a brief reminder of a few safety tips to keep in mind as you drive in school zones.
  • Please do not use cell phones near a school.
  • Be aware of lower speed limits.
  • Please double-check your surroundings before maneuvering to ensure there are no small children nearby.
  • Follow the directions of crossing guards.
  • Do not idle cars while waiting to drop off or pick up students. We need to keep our air clean for our children!

View CCSD93's STEM Camp Videos!
This summer, CCSD93 held its first ever STEM Camp.

The camp was designed to teach attendees about science, technology, engineering, and math. We had an amazing turnout. View the video below to see our 3rd and 4th grade Robotics Camp students in action! I thank Jay Stream teacher Justin Ohlinger for creating the video. Click the link below that for a video about the 5th through 8th graders in our H2O camp, created by our partners at Discovery Education!

Morning care will start as early as 6:30 a.m. until the start of the school day, while afternoon care will extend from the end of school until as late as 6:30 p.m.
