This Small Change to Your Work
Routine Will Make You Happier

Notes from the Chamber

Advocacy at Work
The Plano Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors issued a resolution opposing discrimination in the workplace. Attracting and maintaining a diverse workforce is important for job growth, business recruitment and employee retention. Businesses and organizations in our community have non-discriminatory policies that prevent discrimination and the Plano Chamber encourages this type of protection for our workforce and for members of our community.  CLICK HERE to read the resolution.

Clarification: Plano Chamber's Best of Plano Awards
We have been contacted numerous times regarding a company that is soliciting businesses for a "Best of Plano" recognition offered by Condston.net. There is a fee associated with the award and this award IS NOT endorsed or supported by the Plano Chamber of Commerce. Although we do have a Best of Plano awards program each fall, our awards are selected by a nominating and selection process and there is no fee associated with the award. Any questions about the Chamber's Best of Plano event, please contact Katie Gimenez at 972.424.7547.
