Skowhegan Savings Announces New Chief Financial Officer, Richard St. Pierre 

 

Experienced Finance Executive Joins Leading Community Bank

 

 

SKOWHEGAN, Maine Skowhegan Savings today announced that Richard St. Pierre has been appointed the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. St. Pierre joins the bank with 25 years of financial and accounting experience across a variety of industries.  As chief financial officer he will work to execute the bank's financial plan and oversee finance, accounting, and business analytics.

St. Pierre was previously the Chief Financial Officer for Portland, Maine, based Schlotterbeck & Foss where he had oversight for finance, customer service, and IT. Prior to that, he was Corporate Controller for Backyard Farms, LLC, the largest greenhouse grower of tomatoes in the northeastern United States.

 

St. Pierre earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has been licensed in the state of Maine since 1995.  

 

St. Pierre lives in Winslow, Maine, with his wife and two children and is a lifelong Maine resident. He has long been active in the Southern Maine community and is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.
