Skowhegan Savings to Host
Community Celebration in Augusta

Event to include food vendors, car show and live music 

AUGUSTA, Maine - Skowhegan Savings recently announced the grand opening of their new, state-of-the-art branch in Augusta. To commemorate the summer long grand opening, the bank will host a community celebration on July 25th at their new August branch location, 450 Civic Center Drive in Augusta. The event is free to the public and will feature multiple food vendors, live music, and a vintage/sports car show.  

"We are so excited to be hosting this fun summer event," said John Witherspoon, Skowhegan Savings President and CEO. "We're eager to get to know all of our new friends and neighbors and really celebrate our first summer here in Augusta."

The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on July 25th from 5pm-7pm.  It will feature ice cream from Gifford's, fried dough and pizza from Crisci's and hot dogs, hamburgers and fries prepared by the Manchester Lion's Club. The event will also feature live music by Augusta's own Drifting in Colour as well as a vintage and sports car show.
