A Letter from Our Incoming Board Chair
Dear WIF members,

I am energized, awed, and humbled by the opportunity to serve as chair of the Women's Impact Fund. I am energized by the chance to help carry out the vision of our strategic plan. I am awed by the power of our collective-giving model to address critical needs in our own backyard and to create a pipeline of women who are knowledgeable philanthropists and civic leaders. I also am humbled by the hard and important work of the nonprofits we have funded over the past 12 years. This is a great place to start!

A key goal in our strategic plan is to position the Women's Impact Fund as a bold leader on community issues. The Board has had several discussions about what this means. In the upcoming year, it means a few things:

Pam has lots of favorite WIF moments but she remembers most vividly being a newbie at an event where Toni Freeman, Jeanette Sims and Kathy Ridge were presenters. "I just wished they would come over to talk to me," she said. "I thought that's who I want to be."

She went on to serve and chair lots of committees and this past year served on the Board of Directors.

In addition, for the past several years Pam has been the primary driver of the WIF Facebook page, helping inform and connect our members through social media...READ MORE
We've Moved!

As of June 10, WIF completed its move to our new office located at C3 Lab in South End at 2525 Distribution Street (28203).  If you are in the neighborhood, feel free to drop in and check it out!  We have a dedicated office, but the complex is also home to a great mixture of artists, nonprofits, and small businesses.
