Eileen Fisher Fall Celebration Sale to Benefit WIF
Don't forget to participate in the special fundraising partnership between Eileen Fisher at Phillips Place and WIF this Saturday, September 26. On that day, Eileen Fisher will designate a percentage of all store and online sales during their Fall Celebration Sale to Women's Impact Fund!

Membership information will be shared with customers who shop at the Phillips Place location that day - what a great way to reach out and share our story with others.

For a sneak peek, stop by for light refreshments at a special pre-sales event from 6-8 pm. on Thursday, September 24. Shopping early also ensures the best selection of sale items. Bring your friends, too, and help make this a great success for WIF!

If you can't be there in person, shop online at www.eileenfisher.com. At checkout, you will have the option of choosing the non-profit partner of your choice (please choose WIF)! In prior years, non-profit beneficiaries have earned up to $3,000 from this single day event!

Seeking Partners: Announcing a New Way to Support WIF & Get Exposure for your Business or Cause
by Suzan Becker

WIF is launching a new Community Partners Program. It's simple.  An organization - whether small business or family foundation - pays $1000-$5000, and in return, gets exposure and recognition at WIF events all year long. Not at just one event, but ALL of them!

Chris McLeod, chair of the Development Committee, explains:

"We wanted to create a category to get multiple sponsors that are promoted at every event, instead of finding a lot of companies to sponsor one event." And, McLeod said, "We wanted to create a category of sponsors that would allow smaller companies to participate."

T
he first partner to sign up is Rinehart Wealth Management. President and CEO Daniele Donohoe has been a WIF member since 2011.

"We saw it as an excellent opportunity," Donohoe says. "The women who make up WIF are such an impressive, educated and respected group.  It's a demographic a lot of institutions would want to get in front of."

WIF members are encouraged to suggest this partnership opportunity to those who would benefit from reaching our WIF members. To partner with WIF, or for more information, contact:

In-Home Socials
Looking for a low-key opportunity to meet other WIF members?  Need a casual girls night out?  Want to help host an in-home social to bring a small group of members together to explore common interests?  Then WIF in-home neighborhood socials are just for you!

WIF has a limited number of events throughout the year where all members can come together.  Often times, members who do not serve on committees,  are busy at night with kids, or travel extensively for work have limited opportunities for interaction.

WIF neighborhood in-home socials seek to fill the gap and provide more opportunities for this interaction for members from all walks of life.

The format is easy!  One, two or more women from a neighborhood open up a home for the event.  All attendees bring either a bottle of wine or an appetizer to share.  Members are encouraged to bring prospective members as well.  There is no agenda other than around-the-room short introductions so members can share their philanthropy passions and find reasons to connect with others in the room.  Past events have included 12 to 50 attendees, but hostesses can set a cap for attendance.  The WIF Retention Committee will facilitate the invites and logistics.
