2014 Grantees Selected!

Register for the Annual Meeting today and you will be the first to learn about the 5 new grants that your Women's Impact Fund is making in 2014.  A record 68% of our members voted for this year's grants.  Thank You!

Introducing the "sWIFt Gift"!

New this year, Annual Meeting attendees can participate in a WIF version of "Flash Philanthropy."  In addition to announcing our five high impact grants, we will award a grant of $5,000, live from the event!

Attendees ONLY can vote, via Text, on the additional grant award, choosing among the five "runners-up" (one from each focus area).  This inaugural "sWIFt Gift" was made possible through the generosity of four of our members.  Be sure to RSVP for the Annual Meeting on May 13th!  Your attendance - and vote - will ensure support for one more deserving non-profit!

Collective Thinking

The WCGN (Women's Collective Giving Grantmakers Network) held its national leadership forum in St. Louis recently, including 132 women representing 32 groups . Attending from Women's Impact Fund were Dianne Bailey (WCGN Board member), Sonja Nichols and Susan Ehrman. Two gave presentations on " Keeping it Legal" (Bailey), and "Creating a Great Member Education Program" (Ehrman).

Sonja was the luncheon key note speaker with the topic, "Love Your Body - It's the Only One You've Got!"

(L to R) Alison Wilson (Washington Women's Foundation), Vicki Sheehan (Spirit of St. Louis), Dianne Bailey, Sonja Nichols, and Meghan James (Spirit of St. Louis)

Quail Hollow PR

Thanks to Kathy Mansfield and Paula Broadwell, Women's Impact Fund received great press in the publication "The Life in Quail Hollow". Neighborhood newsletters are a great way to get the word out and recruit members! If you know of a local publication that we should reach out to, please contact the  office.
