Fall is here!  Kids are in school. Sept. was library card sign up month and the library issued many new cards. Lots of people brought back overdue items during fine free week. We thank you for contributing food for the Food Bank of NJ too.

Miss Jordan and the Children's Dept. continue fall programs. Many schools are visiting the library for tours and for children to get library cards.

The Friends of the Library had a wonderful book sale. More people than ever jammed the sale. Book Sale Chairs Brian Smith and Jerry Tritt reported that an estimated 28,000 items were on sale. The Friends thank everyone who volunteered to help at the sale and all summer long. See story and photos below. The Friends also thank the many people who contributed books for the sale.

If you want to attend a Halloween themed program, join us on Oct. 23 when Lewis Pecsi will talk about his graphic novel "The Awakened Poe."  Don't forget the Haunted Haddonfield tours this month. See stories below.

Circulation Manager Eric Zino is placing a display on National Anti-Bullying Month, which is featured in October. Check it out on the first floor!

Don't forget to check out the library's subscriptions to eBooks (the 3M Cloud and a vastly improved Overdrive, )which also has downloadable audio books. The library has been using the 3M Cloud for more than one year now and use is booming. Stop in if you need any help getting started with eBooks, try the Discovery terminal to see books in the Cloud or visit the links above with lots of information to get started. All with your library card!
