The Haddonfield Friends of the Library sponsored a Lego Star Wars event on May 4, 2014. The event was planned by our wonderful intern Dana Giusti. The children enjoyed a Lego Star Wars movie, themed snacks, games, crafts and made their own mini light sabers. The event was very popular, look for another one in the coming months.

During story time in May each group learned about the life cycle of a Painted Lady butterfly. The children were able to watch caterpillars turn into chrysalis's and then into butterflies. When the butterflies were ready to be released we took a field trip to the fountain in front of the library. The children enjoyed watching the butterflies fly off to their new home!
