May is here already! It means spring is here, summer is coming, flowers are blooming, and longer days!

Our new Children's Librarian, Jordan Bilodeau, has Spring themed crafts all month. There is a new Lego table in the children's dept. Jordan and staff member Cynthia Guerra decorated it - see photo below! Bring the kids in to try it. Children's Book Week is May 12-18 - come celebrate kids and reading- an American tradition that continues to be strong!

Be sure to attend the Haddonfield Friends of the Library annual program with Joe Haro and Phil Shapiro on May 8 at 7 pm at the Markeim Art Center. See story below!

On May 21 at 7 pm former channel 3 newscaster Dick Sheeran will do a book talk on Newshound, his book about his career in broadcasting. Go down memory lane with Dick and get an autographed copy of his book.

Don't forget to check out the library's subscriptions to eBooks (the 3M Cloud and a vastly improved Overdrive, )which also has downloadable audio books. The library has been using the 3M Cloud for one year now and use is booming. Stop in if you need any help getting started with eBooks, try the Discovery terminal to see books in the Cloud or visit the links above with lots of information to get started. All with your library card!
