Greetings!

Happy Summer and enjoy your Independence Day!

The Children's Dept. is hopping with Summer Reading Activities almost every day for all ages! Check out the story below. Stop in and register for Summer Reading - kids, cool off at the library and have fun reading - all summer long!

The library has a ton of excellent reading material for your summer vacation. For students we have multiple copies of the Haddonfield School system's summer required and recommended reading lists. Visit the Teen Nook area to find these books or the Children's Dept. for younger children. Some of these books are also available in eBooks! And for those who worry about sand in your book, paperbacks abound.

If you want to find out about the library's 2 subscriptions to eBooks and how to use them with your device, attend a class on July 9 or Aug. 6 from 6-7 pm. Learn about getting free eBooks with your library card with Overdrive  or the 3M Cloud.  Jo-Ann Pure is the instructor and our head Reference and Computer Instruction Librarian. If you can't make the class stop in for a one on one guided tour or pick up brochures on how to get started at the first floor Reference Desk. Call 429-1304, ext. 112 for more information. No registration is required for these free classes.

Congratulations to the Haddonfield Friends of the Library! The Friends  received the service award to a Friends group at the June 4, NJ Library Association Annual Conference. See story below!

The Friends are gearing up for the Sept 20-22, annual Book Sale. Consider volunteering to sort and organize for the sale by attending a volunteer training session on either July 25 or 31 at 7 pm. Watch for announcements about the book sale and volunteering. Please hold your books for donation until August 1.
