Legacy Tree and Branch of Wisdom
PeaceLovePawLogoThere is still time to submit form if haven't already! Forms are attached (tree/branch). Don't miss your opportunity to participate in the Legacy Tree, a PES tradition, or to have your Fifth grader join the Branch of Wisdom, a new PES tradition. Legacy Tree proceeds will go to improving the courtyards at the school, while Branch of Wisdom proceeds benefit the Fifth Grade Fund. Order forms for either project can be left in the PTA mailbox in the office, or given to your child's teacher in an envelope marked "Attn PTA". Contact Janet Hodur ([email protected]) or Mariana Pesin ([email protected]) with any questions.

Thank you for your support!
Staff Appreciation Week
Call for Volunteers:  May 16th-20th

Our teachers and staff do so much for our children all year long. Every day, they teach and help our children grow and learn. Staff appreciation week is our chance to thank them and it's just around the corner.

We need your help to make it a special one! Volunteers will help decorate, serve meals, and assist with activities for the staff throughout the week of May 16th-May 20th.  Please contact Julie Lambert at [email protected]

Spring Book Fair Thank You

Volunteers Needed
Sign up and join the PES Volunteer Bank!

Receive email alerts throughout the year whenever we need help for an hour here or there.  Simply respond to our volunteer website to let us know if you can make it.  No job is too small.  We would love to see our parents' smiling faces around our school and so will your kids! If you aren't available to volunteer during school hours, there are opportunities for you as well!

Send your email address to [email protected]  to be added to the bank and start receiving requests.

Act fast.  PES is "banking" on your help.

Garden Club
PES Garden Club Meets Every Other Wednesday at 2 pm

Bring your kids, your water bottle, sun screen, gloves, shovels or weeding tools, and a hat with "closed toed" shoes to contribute to the garden!  Note:  all kids must be accompanied by an adult should they wish to participate.  All grades are welcome!  Please contact Tyler Schwartz for any questions at [email protected].

PTA Membership
We Need You!

More than ever, we need the Palmetto Elementary Community to support our PTA. The PTA is an organization dedicated to improving our children's scholastic lives through its fundraising efforts during the school year. The easiest way to contribute is by purchasing one of our membership packages - click here for details and forms needed to join. Anyone can join - including grandparents, and your contribution funds programs and activities that directly impact our children's academic experience at Palmetto Elementary.

Membership is not tied to any volunteer commitments, but rather is a way to show your support for the programs and events that the PTA provides. Don't miss out on this very significant opportunity...
