| PES Winter Social and Silent Auction |  TOMORROW! Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 pm
Tickets are still available for our Winter Social & Silent Auction which will be held tomorrow, December 3 at 6:30 at the Garden House at Fairchild Tropical Garden. This is a night where we can get together, socialize, and meet our kids friends' parents...all while supporting our wonderful school. Tickets are $20 pre-sale (only through Thursday morning), $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased outside the cafeteria at pickup and drop-off. The silent auction we have for you is just in time for the holidays...bid on hotel stays, jewelry, tons of restaurants and experiences for your family! Bidding still open online bid here.

| "Palmetto Pride" Spirit Jackets | Order Deadline Friday, December 4
Fend off that "winter" chill or get ready for holiday travel with our new PES hoodies!! Choose from two styles, or order one of each and save $5. Options are a grey lightweight zip-up or a navy heavier weight pullover. Please see attached order form for details. Orders are due by Friday, December 4, to secure holiday delivery. You can print the form and return to your child's teacher. Fifth Grade Fund thanks you for your support!

Our next Golden Paw ceremony will be held Thursday, December 10, on Morning Broadcast, for students who have gone Over the Rainbow by this Friday, December 4.

 Join Us for a Week of Field Day Fun
Field Day will be held Monday, December 14, for 2nd and 4th grade students, Wednesday, December 16, for pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade students, and Thursday, December 17, for 3rd and 5th grade students. Reflections Holiday Concert

Join Us for an Evening of Holiday Music
Performing Arts and the PTA invite you to attend the annual Reflections Holiday Concert on Wednesday, December 16, at 7PM at Palmetto Senior High School. Tickets will be available at the door.

| DVD Collection |
Girl Scout Service Project
Sara Alessa, Gaby Perez, Maia Wenger and Maddie Wise, all alumni from Palmetto Elementary, are working on their Girl Scouts silver award. They are collecting used DVDs which they plan to donate to Miami Children's Hospital, with DVD players, for the kids waiting for surgery and chemotherapy. They have placed a collection box by the Birthday Book club display in the Media Center. If you have used DVDs (PG and G) that would like to donate, please place them by the box. Thank you!

PES Garden Club Meets Every Other Wednesday at 2 pm
Bring your kids, your water bottle, sun screen, gloves, shovels or weeding tools, and a hat with "closed toed" shoes to contribute to the garden! Cleaning Out the Closets?

 Save Some Items for PES!Collections of Legos and Books to Come -- Start Saving Now!
We will soon begin collecting Legos for a new project at school, so please round up those bricks you no longer need! Also, we will have our first Used Book Sale at Fun Fest this year (February 20), so if you're clearing your bookshelves, hold on to those gently used hardcovers and paperbacks -- for adults and kids! Collection information for both will come soon.
