FMEA All State |
Congratulations
It is with great honor and pleasure that we announce our three All-state students from Palmetto Elementary: Amanda Leiva in chorus along with Kayla Heller and Zachary Su in the Orff Ensemble. These students will perform with the Florida Music Educators' Association All-State Elementary Chorus or Orff Ensemble in Tampa, January 14 or 15, 2016 at the Tampa Convention Center. These students were chosen for this prestigious honor through a competitive audition process among over 800 elementary students from all across Florida. Special Congratulations to them and to their parents.
Not only is our music teacher proud of these three students but this year there are ten Palmetto Elementary alumni students who were chosen for ensembles such as the All State Middle School Band, Middle School Jazz Band, 9-10 grade Concert Band, 9-10 grade Concert Orchestra, and 11-12 grade Symphonic Band. These students are Haley Gassenheimer, Zachary Gassenheimer, Diego Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, Tyler Goodman, Jake Heller, Harrison Lam, Ian Muņoz, Connor Munroe, and Adam Stein. It is rewarding to see how successful our performing arts students have become even after leaving the halls of Palmetto Elementary.

PTA Membership |
We Need You!
More than ever, we need the Palmetto Elementary Community to support our PTA. The PTA is an organization dedicated to improving our children's scholastic lives through its fundraising efforts during the school year. The easiest way to contribute is by purchasing one of our membership packages - click here for details and forms needed to join. Anyone can join - including grandparents, and your contribution funds programs and activities that directly impact our children's academic experience at Palmetto Elementary.
