We encourage all PES families to come and explore the wonders of the market selling local, seasonal produce at an affordable price. Get your fresh fruits and veggies, share a smoothie, and try a tasting with a friend!
This year we will have cooking demos, food preparations, and other helpful hints for your weekly meals! Located at the 124st crosswalk behind the cafeteria!
Tasty Tuesdays (Tues 1:50-3:30pm)
Enjoy fresh fruit smoothies and seasonal healthy snacks at the Snack Shack. Snacks are available for $1. Come try something new and delicious! For more information, click here.
Garden Club
(Wed 2-3 pm)
Every Wednesday, students are invited to explore the wonders of the garden. Please bring a hat and a water bottle. Our mantra: "WE DIG DIRT!" For more information, click here.
Every Wednesday after school is Pizza Day! Treat your kids and help the PTA with this delicious weekly fundraiser. Visit us outside the cafeteria and enjoy a slice and a drink for only $2. Other delicious healthy snacks are also available.

 Want a Fun Activity over Spring Break?
Recycled Art Sculptures
If so, help us decorate the Media Center for Earth Day. All Palmetto students are invited to make a free- standing sculpture out of any "recyclable garbage" in your home.
Need Ideas?
- turn a coffee can into a flower pot
- make a shoe box into a dog house
- a paper plate can be a sun, a mirror, or just about anything!
Please bring the recycled art, with student's name and grade, to the Media Center on Monday, April 1, to be placed on display for the month of April.
This is a VOLUNTARY ACTIVITY and NOT a contest. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Seeking Participants for Career Day!
Career Day will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 9am to 1pm. If you know any cool professionals like a Magician, Clown, Electrician, Painter, or an Author, please fill out the following form: Career Day Sign-Up to sign up to participate and return it to your child's teacher or the office no later than Wednesday, April 24, 2013; or contact Vibha Gupta at vibhag@gmail.com or (786) 473-5350. | Chorus to Sing Anthem for Marlins |
 On Saturday, April 13th at 7:10pm!
Once again our Chorus will be singing the National Anthem at the Miami Marlins game onSaturday, April 13th at 7:10 PM. The Marlins will be playing against the Phillies!
Last year the allocated seats sold out so please print out the following flyer and turn it in to Mr. Diez with your payment right away before we are all out of seats: Palmetto Chorus Marlins Flyer.

Relay for Life Thank You

Thank You for Your Support!
Thank you PES for supporting Relay for Life. In addition, to thanking you for the contributions raised, we would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Potter for organizing our booth "Green Eggs and Ham" and the Palmetto Performing Arts Department members who came out and entertained us at the Relay for Life event held at Evelyn Greer Park this past Saturday, including the Palmetto Cheerleaders, Jazz Combo Band, Orchestra and Chorus.
