We encourage all PES families to come and explore the wonders of the market selling local, seasonal produce at an affordable price. Get your fresh fruits and veggies, share a smoothie, and try a tasting with a friend!
This year we will have cooking demos, food preparations, and other helpful hints for your weekly meals! Located at the 124st crosswalk behind the cafeteria!
Tasty Tuesdays (Tues 1:50-3:30pm)
Enjoy fresh fruit smoothies and seasonal healthy snacks at the Snack Shack. Snacks are available for $1. Come try something new and delicious! For more information, click here.
Garden Club
(Wed 2-3 pm)
Every Wednesday, students are invited to explore the wonders of the garden. Please bring a hat and a water bottle. Our mantra: "WE DIG DIRT!" For more information, click here.
Every Wednesday after school is Pizza Day! Treat your kids and help the PTA with this delicious weekly fundraiser. Visit us outside the cafeteria and enjoy a slice and a drink for only $2. Other delicious healthy snacks are also available.

Thank You/VolunteersField Day for the 4th and 5th Grades was held yesterday. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make this event possible. Toy Drive

Toy Collection in Media Center
For the past 12 years, families within the Palmetto Feeder pattern have made an annual trek down to the Chapman Community Partnership Homeless Shelter in Homestead to deliver new toys to children residing there. Your family is invited to join the caravan this year on Dec. 23rd @ 5 PM. It is a special, meaningful event for everyone. If you are unable to drive to the center, please try to participate by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the Media Center. Palmetto Daisy Scout Troop 513 will ensure the gifts make it to CPHS. In this season of giving, let's also remember the gift of giving back, especially to those in need.

Box Tops Update
|
A message from Jennifer Bermudez, your Box Tops Coordinator.
Congratulations to Dr. Telfort's Class for collecting 887 Box Tops! They won the Class Collection Contest and will be awarded with a Crazy Picture Party!
Previously Brad Chapman won for the Individual Collection contest for his submission of 375 Box Tops and was awarded a Fandango gift card.
Great job, everyone! On December 15 we will received a check from Box Tops For Education® for $808.10. We can use this cash to buy whatever our school needs. This year we plan to use the funds for ACT, who sponsors Professor Q.
Our goal for the year is $2805 so we're doing great! Keep the Box Tops coming in! Collect them over Winter Break and submit them for the next Individual and Class Contests that will be announced soon. You can submit them to your teacher or directly to the office. Be sure to write your name and the teacher's name on the submission form or Zip Lock.
All submissions have been and will be tracked and individuals as well as classes have received and will receive credit for all submissions.
