Why do we have these? What can we do?
Over our lifetime we have learned to deal with a number of emotional issues by eating. We have developed habits. When a certain emotional issue comes up we eat to diffuse it. When our boss says we are behind we might get stressed and eat a candy bar. This is a habit we have developed to deal with the stress. If we get fired we might eat and eat and put on weight for awhile to deal with sorrow, stress and anger of losing your job.
