How To Get Rid Of Temptations
Temptations to eat, to smoke, to skip your study period, to get angry or whatever you are working on. These desires, cravings and doubts can be very painful and hard to get rid of. This issue will will present a simple but effective way to get rid of them.
Usually a person decides to achieve a goal by using their Conscious Mind. "I am going to quit smoking" or "I am going to get an A". Their Inner Mind is not consulted at all. Many times the Inner Mind goes along and it helps you achieve your goal. Other times the Inner Mind will not accept your goal and will do everything it can to stop you. Such as sending you doubts, temptations, stress and excuses.
Get Rid of Temptations
A. Ask these 2 questions What's Going On? What can I do about this? Ask the question then wait a few seconds. An answer may come up: stress, want to eat a snickers bar or maybe nothing comes up. Then ask "What can I do about this" wait a few seconds maybe an answer will come up then continue with self hypnosis.
First strong self hypnosis My shoulders, arms and hands are strong. My chest and stomach are strong. My back is strong. My heart is strong. I am strong. Say goal or pep talk.
These are suggestions. It can take time to get the full benefit of this. We want to make it a habit that will get rid of temptations automatically during your busy day until the temptations become less and less. And you become happier and more productive.
THEORY The first two questions take your mind from battling the temptations to taking a step above and observing it. Self hypnosis suggestions such as "My shoulders, arms and hand" bring your awareness to your body and away from your mind.
