Visualizations are advanced daydreams which provide direction to the Inner Mind. They tell the Inner Mind what you would like to happen. We will three types here: Vision, Signpost, Retreat. We say visualizations but we want to use as many senses as possible.
How To Be More Effective a. Go deeper in Self Hypnosis b. Do more often c. Use more senses d. How possible is it? The more possible is your dream the more effective is the visualization.
VISION It is a mental video of what you want to happen in the future usually a goal. If you are a swimmer it could be winning a gold medal in the Olympics. It could be a vision of getting your Math exam back with a 'A'.
Start daydreaming about your goal. Now let the color and shapes get sharper. Perhaps feel the gold medal in your hand or feel the rush as you stand on the podium. Hear the crowd roar. Use as many senses as possible. Next see a white line or thin tubing stretching from the present time you to the future you achieving this goal. Now see yourself walking perhaps running along this line reaching your goal. You are connected. Now add this up and create a mental video of your Vision.
EXERCISE Develop your own vision. Write a paragraph with ALL the details. Use it at least once a day.
