Del Mar Community Connections is looking for new volunteer drivers from Del Mar area.  Our volunteer drivers provide rides to shopping, medical appointments, etc. for seniors who no longer drive.  The volunteer driver program is one of many services provided by DMCC so seniors can continue to live at home.

Volunteer drivers use their own cars.  They register in a system that alerts them by e-mail when rides are needed and they volunteer only for trips that are convenient for them.  The program is hugely rewarding for the riders and the drivers.
